Our world is a reflection of how we think and perceive — where not only form, but a state of being takes shape.

It is shaped through observation, experience, and a nuanced dialogue with cultural context — where architecture, art, and material come together in a carefully composed, cohesive whole.

We invite you to step into this world — to slow down, sense its distinct rhythm, and discover how attention to detail shapes our understanding of space.

The studio’s philosophy, team, and space

Our World

Our philosophy is rooted in a thoughtful and intentional approach to the space we design. To us, each space is a living cultural environment that shapes the way a person feels, moves, and experiences everyday life. Each project is approached as a layered composition where architecture, atmosphere, memory, and personal narrative come together with clarity and intention.

Our work is deeply informed by art, history, and curatorial thinking. We are drawn to the dialogue between different eras, materials, and decorative languages, reinterpreting them through a contemporary sensibility. We aim to compose interiors with longevity - spaces that feel timeless, emotionally grounded, and deeply considered.

A sense of harmony lies at the centre of our practice. Harmony between the individual and the space, between architecture and its context, between stillness and everyday living. We are interested in interiors that invite a slower pace and cultivate a feeling of quiet balance, spaces that support daily rituals while allowing room for reflection and presence.

In our projects, beauty is rarely expressed through excess. Instead, it emerges through atmosphere, proportion, tactility, and restraint. Through subtle details and carefully layered elements, a space begins to feel calm, intimate, and naturally alive.

The studio evolves around the authorial vision of Alexandra Rakhimova — a designer and art historian. Her approach combines a strong academic background in art history, systemic thinking, and a refined attention to detail.

Alexandra studied History of Art at University College London and received her interior design education at KLC School of Design as well as the Details School in Moscow. Since 2019, she has led her own studio, delivering both private and commercial projects.

Her professional approach is shaped at the intersection of art and architecture. Space is perceived as a cohesive system, where layout, light, materials, and objects are interconnected and guided by a unified logic.

Alexandra works with a strong sensitivity to context and proportion, combining classical architectural principles with contemporary solutions. In her projects, natural restraint, clarity of form, and quiet expressiveness are complemented by bespoke details and custom-designed elements.

Her strength lies in the ability to unite analytical thinking with an intuitive sense of space. This allows her to create projects where precision, structure, and expression exist in a state of balanced harmony.

Our team operates as a cohesive and thoughtfully structured system, where architectural, design and operational processes move in a shared rhythm. This allows us to manage projects of varying scale simultaneously, maintaining clarity, control and consistency throughout.

We place particular attention on communication and detail at every stage — from the initial idea to final delivery. What appears effortless is always supported by precision and a strong sense of responsibility behind the scenes.

At the same time, the team remains a living environment shaped by respect, engagement and continuous growth. We invest in education, shared knowledge and a calm, attentive working culture that defines the overall quality of our work.

It is this balance — of depth, precision and a human approach to the process — that allows us to create spaces that feel resolved, refined and complete.

OUR TEAM
At the same time, the team remains a living environment shaped by respect, engagement and continuous growth. We invest in education, shared knowledge and a calm, attentive working culture that defines the overall quality of our work.

It is this balance — of depth, precision and a human approach to the process — that allows us to create spaces that feel resolved, refined and complete.
Nature is not only a source of inspiration for us, but a guiding principle in the way we approach space. We see interiors as an extension of their surroundings, seeking harmony with the site — its light, rhythm and atmosphere. This is why our work is grounded in natural materials, tactility and a sense of visual honesty, allowing spaces to feel calm, balanced and inherently connected to their context.

Alongside nature, culture in its many forms plays an essential role in shaping our perspective. Travel, architecture, art, traditions and ways of living across different places inform our visual language and way of thinking. We approach these references with curiosity and depth, moving beyond surface inspiration towards a more considered interpretation.

Historical context remains a central layer within this process. With a strong art historical foundation, we work fluidly across different periods, bringing them together into a cohesive and contemporary composition. Antique pieces, objects with a sense of time, and collaborations with artisans become part of this dialogue, adding depth, character and a lasting presence to the space.
INSPIRATION
We are drawn to tones shaped by nature — nuanced, softened, and quietly complex. It is a palette of refined undertones, where colour reveals itself through depth, subtle shifts and the way it responds to light.

Such restraint allows the space to breathe, creating a sense of calm, focus and quiet balance.
Дерево для нас — это не просто материал, а носитель времени, памяти и природной силы, который задаёт пространству внутреннюю опору и спокойствие. Оно привносит ощущение тепла, устойчивости и глубинной природной гармонии.
Wood holds a fundamental role in our work, bringing warmth and a sense of grounding to the space.

We approach it with restraint, preserving the natural grain, rhythm and tonal depth of the material. Whether expressed through architectural elements or more delicate surfaces, it introduces a tactile richness and a quiet sense of permanence.
We treat stone as a natural composition in its own right — defined by its structure, pattern and internal rhythm.

Each slab carries a unique character, becoming a focal point within the space. Working with stone requires precision and sensitivity, allowing its depth and presence to unfold with clarity and intention
Textiles bring softness and a sense of intimacy to the interior. Their tactile quality allows the space to feel more human — to envelop, to soften, to invite.

Natural fabrics, with their varied textures and movement, add a layer of quiet comfort, enriching the atmosphere both visually and through touch.
Each project is shaped through a layered process that brings together research, technical precision and a sensory exploration of materials. We develop ideas across multiple dimensions at once: architectural planning evolves alongside hand sketches, collages and material studies, allowing us to test and refine each concept from different perspectives.

A key part of our work lies in the study of cultural and historical context. Craft traditions, stylistic languages and objects from different periods inform the narrative of the project, which is then translated into a contemporary spatial expression. Materials are explored in depth within the studio — through samples, combinations and tactile interaction — ensuring that each decision is both considered and precise.

This approach allows us to shape each project as a coherent and thoughtful system, where every element has its place and the space unfolds as a complete and harmonious whole
Our approach
We see sustainability as an integral part of our work and approach each project with a sense of long-term responsibility. Beyond creating refined and considered spaces, we guide our clients towards more conscious decisions, taking into account the impact of materials, objects and processes on both the environment and overall quality of life.

Our approach favours durability and longevity, the integration of vintage and antique pieces, collaboration with local artisans, and careful attention to the origin and properties of materials. Rooted in a timeless aesthetic, our interiors are designed to remain relevant over time, reducing the need for constant renewal and supporting a more sustainable way of living with space
